 Poli Graphic Design recognizes this pivotal point in history. The protection of the environment has been in the forefront of most social commentary, and we here want to make our own statement. To this goal, Poli Graphic Design has adopted a “green approach” to its business practices at the company’s inception. This has been a top priority with the company’s founders since day one.

The first step in our “green approach” can be seen with the production of our graphic t-shirts. The vast majority of the t-shirts sold on Poli Graphic Design will be made from 100% USDA certified organic cotton. The many important ecological benefits gained through the use of organic cotton include:
Uses no pesticides
 

Prevents contamination of water supply due to pesticide run-off
 

Builds healthy soil through crop rotation, compost application, cover cropping and mulch
 

Retains water more efficiently because of increased organic matter in the soil
 

Maintains a balance between pests and their natural predators through healthy soil.
 

Also, Poli Graphic will complete the bulk of its t-shirt printing using eco-friendly printing options such as water-based, PVC-free, and formaldehyde-free inks.
